  Resource Centre for Primary Health Care (RECPHEC)
 

RECPHEC is a non-governmental organization, the activities of which are focused towards primary health care workers and consumers.

Dissemination of drug related information is part of the total activities of RECPHEC. The main objective of RECPHEC is to help the consumers understand their rights and responsibilities in making the use of medicine rational. Therefore the primary target of RECPHEC is consumers. At the same time the information service is provided to service providers, journalists, researchers and students. Although RECPHEC conducts various activities related to rational use of drugs, as a DINoN member, dissemination of drug information is carried out through the Information and Documentation Unit.

The Information and Documentation Unit of RECPHEC has a special section of resource materials on drugs. The updated 2nd edition of the Bibliography on Drugs is available for the users. The following services are provided by the unit:

Reading space in the library
Access to a computer database of resources available in the unit.
Access to a digital database and printing
Assistance in finding hard copies of resource materials
Photocopying at a minimum charge
Referral to relevant centers for further information if required
Provide an information service via email and phone
